The next meeting of the Nepean/ Blue Mountains Prostate Cancer Support will be held at 6.30 pm on Monday the 17 June 2019 at the:

Our meeting in June will feature an address by Dr Amanda Stevanovic, Clinical Director, Nepean Cancer Care Centre on “Current and Up To Date Issues with Medical Oncology and Prostate Cancer”.


Amanda Stevanovic graduated from the University of Newcastle in 1999. She went on to train in Newcastle and Westmead Hospitals before coming to Nepean Hospital. She started as an Advanced Trainee in Medical Oncology, spending some time in Palliative Care before working as a Staff Specialist in Medical Oncology. She specialises in Genitourinary Cancers and is an active member of ANZUP. She is the principle investigator in a number of prostate cancer trials at Nepean. Amanda is the Head of Medical Oncology and the Clinical Director of Cancer Services-Nepean and Blue Mountains Local Health District.


All meetings are available to males and their partners who are seeking information on this cancer, and who live in the Blacktown, Blue Mountains, Hawkesbury and Penrith areas.
