Hello all Members,
 
 Easter is done, check……….Anzac day, done, check………School holidays, done, check………
 So what’s next?…… Let me tell & invite each of you to come, take part, (or at least visit on the day)……..
This Coming Saturday /Sunday, 4 /5 May, is the Cancer Council Penrith Relay for life, inside the Penrith Showground trotting track..
 
Your Prostate Cancer Support Group will for the 11th year, have a team, “PROSTATE PALS”, entered. 
 
The team is only taking part on the Saturday(4th), setting up from 7-30 am, (if anyone is free to help at that time please, come on down)
The opening ceremony is at 9-45 am, the relay  survivors / carer’s walking laps start at 10 am, 
Then walking laps & stage entertainment goes all day. so pop in any time.
If you want to see something different, be there for the MISS RELAY competition from 5-30 to 6-00 pm
The personal and very moving HOPE Ceremony, will be on at 6-30 pm followed by fireworks at 7 pm
 
Our tent site no. 5/6…… Opposite end of track to the stage, Mulgoa Rd. end. (close to the car park & TOILETS). It will be manned all day till pack up around 9-00 pm
If that’ not enough excitement to get you to pop in, come & see our new “TEAR DROP’ & tent banner just purchased.
 
We are looking for books you no longer want, to sell at the relay, (brings people to our tent) please limit it to 6 books per person thank you.
 
We would love you & family / friends to sponsor our team or team members, (one team member is going to do one lap for every $15 he is sponsored,  (his initials are JK)

One last thing Please bring your own fold up chair, we are keeping the gear in the tent to a minimum, you can buy food / coffee there.
