September is Prostate Cancer Awareness Month and Penrith’s two Men’s Sheds will be working “Shoulder to Shoulder” for the awareness of Prostate Cancer with the Nepean / Blue Mountains Prostate Cancer Support Group, in our local areas.

The Nepean and Penrith Community Men’s Sheds and the Nepean / Blue Mountains Prostate Cancer Support Group will be, thanks to the support of Bunnings North Penrith store, hosting a monster three day BBQ effort raising funds, held on the days leading up to this year’s Father’s Day.

Come along and show your support by enjoying a BBQ sausage sandwich (or two) and a drink, and purchase a ticket for a chance to win a prize in the raffle.

WHEN and WHERE: The 3rd, 4th & 5th of September 2015 – at Bunnings North Penrith

  • THURSDAY 3rd September – Hosted by Nepean Men’s Shed
  • FRIDAY 4th September – Hosted by Penrith Community Men’s Shed
  • SATURDAY 5th September – Hosted by Nepean/Blue Mountains Prostate Cancer Support Group Inc

All proceeds from the three days BBQ will go to the Nepean / Blue Mountains Prostate Cancer Support Group Inc to assist in local Prostate Cancer support efforts.

 ALL males over 50 years of age should talk to their doctor about being tested at their next health check-up. EARLY DETECTION ALLOWS FOR THE BEST OUTCOME.
