There’s still time to volunteer as a consumer reviewer with the Prostate Cancer Research Program (PCRP) of the Department of Defense (DOD) Congressionally Directed Medical Research Programs (CDMRP). The deadline for nomination materials to be received at the DOD has been extended to Friday, August 5, 2016. My Prostate Cancer Roadmap has launched “Viewpoints from the Road,” featuring informative, engaging and personal content created with the help of patients, caregivers and advocates. Find interviews, tips on how caregivers can take care of themselves while they support their loved ones with prostate cancer, and information on the value of a strong healthcare team.
We’re looking forward to the 12th Annual SEA Blue Chicago Prostate Cancer Walk & Run in Lincoln Park on Sunday, September 11th. In addition to honoring prostate cancer survivors as warriors and guardians of the next generation, we’ll be thanking local first responders in recognition of 9/11. Plus, prostate cancer survivor and Baseball Hall-of-Famer Ken Griffey Sr. will be there too! CLICK HERE and register to raise funds for Us TOO and increase awareness for prostate cancer.
