Some things you should know about our group:

• We have been providing our services and support to the Nepean, Blue Mountains and Hawkesbury regions since 2002
• We were incorporated in 2007
• We are registered for DGR (Deductable Gift Recipient) with the Australian Tax Office, so any donations can be claimed as a tax deduction
• Our board is made up of people who have been involved with prostate cancer in some role. They are community minded people who give their time freely and without payment
• We have very close ties with the Prostate Cancer Foundation of Australia and are affiliated with them
• We interact with other support groups
• As far as possible, we provide an avenue for members to access the latest information on all aspects of prostate cancer
• We participate in many community activities to raise awareness of prostate cancer and provide funds for prostate cancer research and other cancer related projects
• We have a lot of fun in our activities and project a positive environment for our members to take part. Get Involved.
• As a not for profit community group, we ask members to pay an annual membership fee of just $10 per family to help defray costs of running the group
